#4What is going on with the Pixel series 6 line?? There have been numerous problems starting all the way with the phone call problem back in December. Google then promised to fix it by late January!! A whole month of not being able to make phone calls. I knew back then that it was time to switch to iphone and have been satisfied ever since.

#5Why would anyone ever want the fingerprint reader under the front screen when it works so well on the back? Why do people want glass on the back of their phones when it breaks so easily?
Some trends really don't make sense to me.

Because if you have to use it all the time for MFA when the phone is lying on a desk, it's really great not having to pick it up every time.
Our work is going a bit crazy with MFA timeout now and I'm really happy with my in-screen fingerprint reader.
No problems with it on the OnePlus 8 by the way, it's accurate and fast.

I often thought the same till I got a front facing finger print unlocker.
1) When my phones mounted in the car, it makes it a lot easier to unlock vs the back
Counter point: You can and probably should set your phone to unlock by it's self when plugged into your car.
2) It makes it a lot easier to unlock the phone when it's lying down on your desk or table
Counter point: Same as above, set your phone to not be locked in a familiar space either via Wifi home or similar.
3) As another commenter pointed out, I use finger print unlock for MFA more than anything else at this point and having it on the front screen vs. the back is very handy.
4) Though there's no doubt I get my finger print scan 'wrong' more often than I did on the front vs when it was on the back.
I don't mind it one way or another but I thought my feelings about a finger unlock under the screen to be more divisive but it hasn't been as shit as I thought it would. I.e., I still find the lack of a headphone jack to be a much stronger pain point.

Why not have the "MFA" on the machine you are working on? They have chips for authentication that run independent of the rest of the machine.

Why not have the "MFA" on the machine you are working on? They have chips for authentication that run independent of the rest of the machine.
That's not supported by our system sadly. It's this or enter an SMS code.
