The Fun of Building Without Users

I can't tell if this post is being sarcastic.

On the one hand, I love building things for myself, often never sharing them. These include a stock screener, a fractal explorer, and more.

But even in that case, My success is determined by how satisfied my one user is. If you're building for no one...why are you building?
