How's life, and what is keeping you busy these days?

I think you've guessed why I'm reaching out to you already – the team Bolt is looking for a Web Engineer to join our team at the Estonian office

What would you do? As a web engineer, you are responsible for maintaining, developing, and applying the best performance, accessibility, and security principles to web applications and pages at Bolt. You will also be designing and coding Bolt's growing frontend systems, proactively fixing bugs and technical issues, shaping our product development roadmap, and enhancing performance and speed-related aspects of the pages. You will be coding mostly in React, Javascript, HTML, CSS, and SCSS. Besides web analytics, testing, and reporting tools, you will be at the forefront of making sure that the most efficient and convenient experience is delivered to our visitors.

Who are we again? Bolt is a recent unicorn and one of the fastest-growing mobility startups in the world, revolutionising how 100M riders move in 45 countries across Europe and Africa at €7B valuations. With that being said, you will be required to relocate to Tallinn, Estonia, where the HQ is based.

With an engineering team still below 500, formed by top talents from Google, Uber, Amazon, Facebook, or Microsoft to name a few, it's small enough for every individual to have a big impact on its future and also benefit from a sky-rocketing equity package and top salaries!
