I have a bottle that I purchased couple years ago at it starts with 6.
I guess the Lot # is reused.

It is very likely if you have a recently purchased jar of jif it is part of the recall. The peanut butter that was already open and we had eaten the better part of was part of the recall and at the grocery store there was no jif products of any kind to be found.
