#5Today, it’s a toy. In ten years, it will be writing far more sophisticated code and replacing cheap coding shops. I don’t think senior engineering roles are at risk, but if you’re making low dollars writing bullshit code, your job is at risk.

How ironic would programming getting automated before truck driving be?

#7This is really cool, but maybe not super useful. English isn't a good language at all to describe control flow or business logic, and while this can make programming more intuitive for speakers of English, it lacks the fidelity that an actual programming language would provide, resulting in code that doesn't necessarily work how you would want it to.

Does that mean it'll actually take AI to create automated driving? Does the system have to become self aware before it's good enough to drive? Does the system learn to drive before realizing humans are a problem?
