They could attempt to sell it back to the organization. I was never happy with my work's solution for url shortening at scale (we wrote more links than bit.ly by a wiiiide margin, and each link would likely only be clicked a few times at most). #7Naive question in my opinion. A business is a lot more than just tech or software. It’s marketing, it’s customer lists, domain knowledge, accounting, connections, trust in the marketplace, etc. “If you build it they will come” is not a realistic outlook.
