#2100,000 feet (20 miles) is NOT space. That is merely altitude. Even so-called sub-orbital flights as practised by the Silicon-Valley guys are just high-altitude earth-bound flights.
True space flight entails orbital speed. (And 'altitudes' a lot more than a mere 20 miles.)
