Wouldn't it be better to save some of the money to gold rather than just dollars or currencies? Inflation is at record highs now.

Even with the dollar's current high inflation, it's still drastically better at wealth preservation than anything else Sudanese people are likely to have.

And unlike gold, dollars can be easily traded.

I'm really super excited to see the first Sudanese company backed by YC. The electronic payment landscape in Sudan is very promising with ease regulations and wide range of banks to pick from (we have 38 bank in Sudan!)

I wish more Sudanese companies get featured on techcrunch

Same here, very exciting. Last year, Tirhal was the first Sudanese startup to receive funding from abroad and now this. Hope the momentum continues.
