I found this interesting because of how it compares with:

* discussions regarding if the glass is half full or half empty (it is of course, neither; it's full... part with liquid and part with air... unless of course it's in a vacuum.)

* what appears to be the (what appears to be common) tendency to look at / dwell on the negative things.
