FBI Director: No Country Poses a More Severe Threat Than China

For the last two decades America has been seen as a greater threat to democracy than either China or Russia.

The 2021 Democracy Perception Index, for example, found that 44% of people globally believed the US was a threat to democracy in their country. China reached 38%, and Russia reached 28%.
