#2I think this is interesting, because most of the time when I get post from Royal Mail, the stamps haven't been postmarked. So in theory this removes that potential fraud - the post gets scanned, check it's valid, done.

Not to mention they will phase out normal stamps. Seems like they will surveil anything they get their hands on.
