Anyone who are familiar with this and can explain it? Honestly isn't this all like a big scam aren't you just buying air/electrons in the end. I can "mint" an NFT which basically is like a checksum of a image for instance that is encoded(minted) in the etherium blockchain - then this can be sold/transferred to different wallets? Have i got this right? Why are people paying so much for this nonsense?
