I remember the hordes of analysts harvesting monitors when people started getting taken out back and shot at Lehman. Think I got up to 5. Now that 6 is headlines, wonder how many the next wunderkind will need...10?

Dunno how much Falkvinge's setup changed, but it was quite impressive in number of displays way https://usesthis.com/interviews/rick.falkvinge/

Yep. I sleep 2 hours a night and my office is nothing more than a VR headset and an Aerotrim chair [1].

He occasionally makes YouTube videos on Bitcoin related topics; you can see his desk space in most of them.

I don't think 6 monitors is that unusual, they do seem to be 34" though - https://tenor.com/view/ftx-cryptocurrency-gif-19185241

The cost is insignificant for any senior engineer. The monitors are ~$0. The cost is all in the space needed and setup. That's just processes.

You would be getting into ergonomic issues with his setup.

I think the fact some workplaces still run on two 24" monitors is far more crazy. Children and secretaries should have minimum two 24" monitors.

There are some arguments against multiple monitors, I don't buy into it as a general idea - https://hackernoon.com/why-i-stopped-using-multiple-monitors...
