Could you add context as to what you're renting? Most payment processors behind common e-com platforms explicitly state you can't use them for renting, homes, cars etc for compliance / risk reasons. This is why dedicated platforms like AirBnb and Turo dominate since they can insure the risk their customers take at much lower rates than you or I could without a whole company behind the concept.

A lot of platforms support subscriptions easily, but I'm mainly looking for something that allows a rental type system with a fixed start and end date.
