Did ever European teams get YC founding? Would be encouraging to know anything about that... thanks!

Yes, pretty much every cycle has groups from Europe.

Auctomatic, Heysan, Songkick, Clickpass, Baseshield, Snaptalent, Webmynd, FathomDB, and Scoopler are all from Europe.
