Moosh means mice not rats but otherwise correct. This is a Persian idiom that we learned in my Farsi classes.
Mice are considered cute in the culture ("my mouse mouse" is a term of endearment) but I don't think that changes the meaning substantially.

#4It's a Persian idiom and what does that mean is that you can't hide everything from others and they'll be informed in such way that you'll be surprised(don't know how!).
