He doesn't necessarily have the legal authority to require anyone to reduce their water usage without additional legislation, so he's doing what he can do and asking. That seems like a rational thing for him to do in my mind. Do you not think so?

Yeah, there is something weird about that vaccine - before I had it I thought people where stupid not to get vaccinated, since I've had it I'm entirely sick of the utter cretins.

#10Tragedy of the Commons like recycling contamination, opt-in vaccination, littering, or well water depletion. Asking a group of Americans to what's necessary never works because they don't care, are too clueless, too self-absorbed, or too dumb to follow directions. If it were Japan or Singapore, we wouldn't even have this discussion. American "excellence" in failure.
