What do Medium users (i.e. authors) get in exchange for having this annoyance put in front of their readers?

How did the Amiga sound so much better at the time. Think I need to go digging and watch some YouTube videos about it.

Oh gosh. Is that really what DOS games used to sound like? I had an Amiga until the late nineties so missed out on that... static!? (wasn't sure if my speakers were playing up when it first started) How did the Amiga sound so much better at the time. Think I need to go digging and watch some YouTube videos about it.
If you only had a PC speaker, yes, although some games sounded better. At some point in the 90s, Sound Blaster cards started getting popular and those sounded way better than this example.
