A great argument for universal basic income.

Is this sarcasm? Large amounts of capital (for a single person) given by wealthy individuals to select geniuses is the opposite of basic income given by government to all.

Author seems to be encouraging private donors, not governments. Given that, I don't see why we couldn't have both.
