In the age of microservice and fast iteration, it is quite true. The software that you wrote, you might throw away in 6-12 months but not the interfaces while keeping compatibility.

By using microservices, most companies will face even more problems than they did before with their monoliths.

But companies who do not face problems, they scale organisation pretty well.
