USCCB = "US Conference of Catholic Bishops", which is why being on Grindr is a problem.

I think you're stopping your analysis too early. Having open or purchasable access to fine grained location data able to be cross-references with large, comprehensive datasets with no expectation of privacy or discretion is a problem.

The Grindr thing is simply a symptom.

I just meant that this is why being on Grindr is a problem for him. It's a no-no for Catholic bishops.

For everybody else, yeah, Grindr shouldn't be a problem. Except for the whole thing with the big datasets of everything you do. That's a different issue. One more relevant to HN, but still left me confused when I didn't recognize "USCCB".
