This is a native-javascript GPU Accelerated JavaScript Advanced SubStation Alpha Subtitles Renderer. We're looking for people interested in contributing to the project.

The README and the title can be made a lot more readable by using the ASS acronym. Seriously. More people know that format by that name. I had to Google the substation thing.

Otherwise this looks pretty cool! For the uninitiated, ASS subs (redundant acronym I know) can get pretty complex, especially when storing the sea of “danmaku” onscreen comments on anime sites.

danmaku comments aren’t normally done with ASS/SSA but yes the format is really complex
