#3I had a work PC fail at a quarter to five one Friday night. They needed a PC on the floor to view online PDFs for production. The workshop is on a different network to our office domain. The only spare I had was set-up for domain access. At close to five I didn't want to reinstall Windows. I downloaded Puppy Linux to a USB flash drive and set them up for the night shift. I’m currently Fedora+Gnome and Arch+Sway, depending on the machine. Pretty happy with both, but Debian compatibility would be nice, since that’s what I run in production.
