This is surely a solution to a problem that doesn't exist? If you are in an area where a friend is, you text them and ask if they are up for a coffee. Or is it for meeting up with strangers? In which case you have a certain momentum to reach before there are enough users to make it attractive.

Thank you Rob, I’ll definitely look into that! It is meant for groups who may or may not know each other. Appreciate the feedback!!
