Root Cause Analysis for Frankfurt Outage on 2021-05-06

Is this what I think it is? A kubernetes cert expiration like I ran into a while back in 2019?[0]. Since it looks like render does use k8s[1], does this mean they’re not using the EKS/GKE option (I assume it’s impossible to make this mistake with a managed option).
