#4It might be overkill but I'm managing my small business with ERPNext (from that list). I'm surprised by the quality of the software and its user interface design. It seems I'm the only one using it around my peers so I'm probably ahead of the curve.
ERPNext is built on top of the Frappe framework which is also an other interesting piece of software. How many times you kickstart a project and need to manage user access roles and database schemas on top of what mostly matter; the data schema and the link between it's tables.

#5I don't understand why India does not just have a Gitee type separate github.
Not like the US gives India much.
India should just go it's own way, and use it's use of English as a weapon to expand Indian businesses wherever there is a presence of American, UK, Canadian, Australian business, and shut down access to it's own market.
All the contribution ( open source ) gets used by US companies.
It's not 'charity', if the other party misuses it.

#6I see that Cred's special UI is open sourced here. The first time I used the app I was really surprised, because it was truly a new type of interface elements. And it did things with my phone's haptics that I never thought possible.
Even though I am skeptical about their core business, I do hope the UI elements get adopted by others.

If you go to https://github.com/collections there's a few "Made in X" collections and yes, China's there (but not USA).
