It is always true. People spend so much time around hip tech but people who are actually making money is spending time on solving boring problems..

I mean yeah. It might be me experience but even in hip tech, it's the founders and the outward facing teams that get all of the fun.

For us developers, it's always the boring stuff, unless you're part of a magical team which I've not had the honor to join so far.

That's because only a small portion of users in the world have interesting problems :) I mean if you are solving their issues with new tech that's good. But I found this is not the case and many of the startups that go unicorn are coming from the same source of idea...

To generalize this like that is quite wrong IMO, then you also think that the creation of social media platforms came out of boring problems?
