Hi everyone!

For many years, I developed myself and tried to break the barrier that made me understand I had no control over my life and my activities. It was like someone inside me played against me and won most of the time. I wrestled with this for years, I spent hundreds of hours on therapy. I knew I procrastinated, but I thought this was because of some other problem, the problem that I couldn’t understand. In the middle of last year, when my co-founder and I scuttled our previous project due to the pandemic, I asked myself: what do I know well enough, and what are my own pain point and a pain point of many others? The answer immediately occurred to me, and I didn’t even think about anything else. I’ve done a great deal of research on procrastination, studied hundreds of papers, discussed it with many psychologists and researchers, and, along with knowledge, I got an answer to my question: what this barrier inside me is, why I have it and what I can do with it.

The result is a course. It’s based on scientific research and how I, as a person with this trait, see this problem. This is important because not a single author of this research is a procrastinator, and they have no experience with what it feels like and how to live with it. I went through all the practices I offer myself. I took a test on procrastination level in February 2021, and my score was 41 out of 45. It’s the top 10% of all procrastinators (not like it’s the top I was happy to join). Now my score is 32. It’s the lower threshold, beyond which the average procrastinators are. I’ve jumped through 2 categories, and I can see this is really so. I start doing something much easier, I am more focused, and I can regularly work for hours avoiding distractions. And damn, I love my new state.

Procrastination is not a problem of time management, lack of willpower, motivation or anything else. Procrastination is when you put things off for later or for a time right before a deadline, even though you understand the adverse consequences of such putting off. We have it as a behavioral response when we want to avoid aversive emotions from the upcoming task. That is, it’s a problem of maladaptive emotional regulation.

The product is a program that aimed to overwhelm chronic procrastination, and many creative people are among those who constantly delay their tasks. This is why you should take a survey - to figure out whether you have this problem and at what level. If your rate is high - you’re invited, if not - you’re just fine and don’t need it.

Appreciate feedback from you, guys.
