Here's Why Some HN Users don't Like TechCrunch Links

Everyone here already reads TechCrunch. Its right next to my HN feed in Google Reader. So there's no need to continually post TC links here.

HN is for me to discover those deep links that I would have missed otherwise.

Ok, sure, but not everyone reads TC all the time. And some of us just whip through it, and rely on HN to indicate which ones are really worth a second look. I'm pretty negative about certain types of content here, but TC isn't that bad. Hopefully people will just not upvote them unless they really stand out.

It's the volume I have a problem with, not the source. 5 of the top 30 stories right now are TC and more than 11 have been posted in the last 24 hours.
