Hey everyone. I'm a Senior Product Designer at Fast (Prev at Facebook, YC, etc).

I'm looking to work on a couple of Bitcoin (or cryptocurrencies) related projects.

I think we need to shorten the ui & usability gap that cryptocurrency projects have.

Well they just announced a hackathon with a $50,000 prize for this thing https://elrond.com/blog/elrond-hackathon-moralis/

Not sure if Elrond is putting up the money or Moralis (Elrond is a promising Ethereum-type blockchain thingamabob and Moralis is a JS framework that interacts with things like that). Elrond’s Telegram channel is probably the place to go https://t.me/ElrondDevelopers

Thanks man. Not looking for a full time role, rather collaborating on exciting projects on my spare time.

That’s a hard challenge. Balancing usability and security. Bitcoin protocol and Opsec has to be understood to safely use Bitcoin. Best bet IMO is dedicated hardware wallets that are easier to use and communicate out via scannable QR code’s. this would be secure and fairly convenient with a decent app. Anything that is online or running on a phone or pc isn’t secure enough for more than $100 in crypto. A wallet in the literal sense - you don’t want to get robbed!

The actual bitcoin-core wallet needs revamping, why don’t you start there?
