#2The US branch of OpenStreetMap took donation of several of these machines last year. They're still serving us well! Thanks Rob and Wikimedia!

#6The value of an out of warranty server is practically $Null. Any set of servers in a single space will require active cooling. Since processing power and storage multiply over time, it means you end up overspending on energy for a what now is a very limited amount of processing power. And I'm not even going to mention downtime due to hardware failure and rising cost of upgrades over time. The most valuable part of this donation by far is the fact that they pay for the shipping.
