This reads like sheer madness. Madness condemning madness.

Yeah... I'm sure big companies would love to put an end to GPL and FSF. This is total nonsense. Not happening.

From the open source community to the proprietary greedy conglomerate corporations: "Fuck off. Sincerely yours, lifetime open source author."

This comes across as completely unreasonable. Not only must he be removed but the entire FSF dissolved? What exactly would this fix?

They link to his glossary on his website as if it's damning, but it's really not that interesting, just someone's opinions.

I have a difficult time believing Bill Gates and Tim Cook signed this. It's one thing to persuade others of your own beliefs, another to perpetrate a fraud.

Both articles are light on substance and facts and thus not very trustworthy.

It rather sounds like a bad trolling attempt, including the names of several well-known persons in the industry who certainly didn't sign this.

Can't see any reason why this should be linked on hn.
