Hey, I'm also from Slovenia and wanted to do the same thing for my private collection.

A month ago, a guy in Maribor had (maybe still has?) a non-working DEC VT101, a working Gorenje Paka 3000 and some terminal printers, but he didn't want to sell anything separately, so I didn't buy anything from him.

I have a feeling you know of him.

Dynamically Redefined Character Set (DRCS) was introduced with DEC VT200 and even though online information is scarce, there is enough there to make it work on a real machine.

Even more interesting are the Yugoslavian/Slovenian video terminals with their own custom graphics modes and features - it is a lost art but we at the Museum are working on bringing it back!

Zdravo :) You're welcome to visit us once we (hopefully) open in the second part of the year. We are aware of a few local private collectors and admire how they cherish their treasures. The museum does not have a budget for acquisition but thankfully we have already received many generous donations and will make sure as many visitors as possible can experience them!

The poor guy still needs some love, however I decided to post the photo anyways :) We did a "first pass" cleaning of everything collected since 2004 but have only recently found a permanent home and storage for our collection - so much left to do, but it's a pleasure polishing the milestones of yesteryear :)

Yesh, i think some xterm programs do support it and i remember toying around with it in the 90s. That stuff was already obscure even then.
