#5Interesting how Paul's essay make it instantly to the first page, even with only 4 upvotes in 42 minutes and even though the same thing was on the front page one or two days ago. Not saying there's some kind of bias in the ranking algorithm, but there definitely not isn't one.

Is it as plausible that everything posted by pg gets quickly upvoted by people on name recognition?
