Personally, I think people are asking for sources of extremely easy to access information more and more. People take more time to reply than to do a basic google search.
I know of the whole concept of the person making the claim has to back it up, but this isn't debate club, and the information is at your fingertips. I don't know why people ask for sources when a Wikipedia entry a few keystrokes and a couple of clicks away.

#5I agree that climate change is an existential threat to human life on Earth, but I don't know of any historical civilization that declined due to climate change. Can you give an example and citation for that claim?

#6We're so interconnected and so advacned I think we'll be fine in the big picture and the long run. Sure, millions may die during famine, but billions will live on.
