Tell HN: Encryptr shut down, last two days to export your data

#1
The Encryptr password manager's online service has officially been sunset on the 4th of March: https://spideroak.com/encryptr/

SpiderOak grants one last chance to users to export their data this weekend (6th and 7th): https://spideroak.support/hc/en-us/articles/360056547132-Encryptr-end-of-life

Note: You'll need to download the new client version 2.1.0 to be able to export your data.

I hope they don't delete that information. Because someone is going to come out of a coma and be sad that all their passwords are gone, so I'd hope they could at least like pay a small fee to have them retrieved from a secure offline backup once the service is turned down. Passwords are after all tiny.

Agreed... I would argue it's their responsibility.
