#2There is great incentive for Physicians to push "precision" medicine. The non-marketing word is called Authority. As they use experience rather than science.
Authority based medicine requires 10+ years of education. It creates a cartel-like system. It's seen in wages, favorable mal practice lawsuits, and Political power.
Science based medicine can be done with no credentials. (Taken to the logical extreme, there's likely a pragmatic middle ground). While science based medicine can reduce errors, the establishment of Physicians have been fighting against it.
