#3Can someone please explain how is quantum teleportation different than, transmitting information about object and then making another object behave the same way as the first one?

#4Can someone ELI5 why this doesn't break the "information can't move faster than the speed of light" rule?

Because you can't read the data without a quantum decryption key, which you need to transmit the normal way. This is the same as with tunneling.

it feels like the core advantage over current information transportation is for inter planetary communication.

I guess you should ask ‘Is click bait an accurate summary?’ Instead :)
I think it will come down to how you define an object-I don’t think that’s a scientific term.

#9Would that work with an object of the size and mass of, say, a mother in law? Just curious...

I still do not understand, as they do not carry Qubits, but they use laser to transmit information, why not use the laser in the first place to transmit information?
