#3Not sure how to react. Mostly very pessimistic about this whole thing. When I originally learned about this years ago, I assumed this just going to be some sort of stunt to pump money out of local economy. I guess time will show.
I think time has shown, has it not?

yes, but just may be it take bit more time to show some sort of turn around. But otherwise yes you are right, and that part of my comment should of been rephrased : )

It was never about money or jobs; it was about votes.

IMO, it was obviously a PR stunt from both sides, with Walker and the GOP trying to make it look like they were creating jobs (ironically an easier political sell when you legislate special exemptions and subsidies), and Foxconn and China trying to defuse trade tensions. It was never about money or jobs; it was about votes.

Foxconn is Taiwanese and not mainland Chinese but the point still stands that it was political hedging during the trade tensions.
