#3Can you blame them? For some reason there isn't ranked voting, and many other structural changes that could have been implemented 2 to 3 decades ago.

#4 From my experience, millennials are quite pleased with politicians like AOC, who are in the same age cohort. This isn't just a matter of political views and populism, but also a matter of social connection - see for example the AOC twitch stream playing Among Us with half a million viewers.
The article mentions income inequality as a cause of dissatisfaction with the status quo, but it's also political power inequality: we are a nation owned by and run by baby boomers, essentially.
This will eventually change, but it sure feels shitty sometimes.
