Ask HN: HN Dark Mode?

I was just now thinking how cool it would be if HN had a dark mode? Browsing hacker news on a 34 inch wide monitor right now. Everything else on my desktop is in dark mode, so my eyes took quite a hit :) I'm guessing for reading, black on white is proven to be more effective, but it seems my eyes are very sensitive to pure white backgrounds now.

Take a look at Dark Reader [1] Note: It can break some sites.

The feature request comes up regularly. In https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=23197966 the admins are not opposed, though right now browser extensions are the best work-around.

Stylus is the plugin that I've been using. Any other suggestions?

LinuxBlender has suggested DarkReader.
