Monitoring a Raspberry Pi with a 5$/month droplet

I've written an article about my setup to monitor a Raspberry Pi which was failing with no reason.

I tried to do it in the cheapest and easiest way, and in the end, it's running Prometheus in Dokku, just by 5$/month.
