What happened to Mr. Floyd is a tragedy. This just comes off poorly though, no matter how well-intentioned. Understood that you want to show the world you care. This just seems small, pointless, and unsubstantial. Why not have a button that solicits donations instead of crippling functionality that somebody expects to be there?
