Apple has a lot of staff doing hardware. That work is hard to do at home.

The testing & rapid prototyping equipment alone would take up more than most people's home office space.

Little known fact, Facebook, Google, Amazon, Microsoft are all huge hardware companies, Google alone spends ~10 Billion/year on datacenter CAPEX, with a lot of custom in-house hardware.

Why was the title editorialized? The article doesn’t say that. Do we have to push narrative here?

> The Cupertino, California-based technology giant plans to bring back employees in phases to its offices, including the main Apple Park campus in Silicon Valley, over a few months, according to people familiar with the plan.

Yeah, it's an odd take. If anything, the article seems to be suggesting that Apple Park is merely one among a bunch of locations that will see employees return.
