#2To all the people who's feelings got hurt by me calling it "Wuhan Fever" I'm sorry, but I am still upset that the W.H.O. and other government bodies believe they have the mandate to dictate what is appropriate and what is not when it comes what the public call diseases.
I keep hearing these same people state that "Now is not the time for political rhetoric" yet they feel the need to push tbeir "Political" agendas though something so trivial as what people call a disease.
I can't help but wonder if the W.H.O. was given an ultimatum by the Chinese government to push the name COVID-19, or not gain access to study the disease.
What ever happened to "Sticks and Stones"? Maybe it's time to bring it back, preferably before "Ring around the Rosey" makes a comback.

Sorry, but opposing racism is not merely a political stance—and obviously (or at least obviously to us non-racists) is in no way “pushing an agenda”.

Academics, journalists, politicians, and anyone else who cares about being accurate should use the proper name for things (as suggested by the appropriate body).
This avoids confusion (never mind the obvious racial implications).
You can call Covid-19 whatever you damn well please. Go ahead. Just don't be surprised if people judge you a certain way for it.
