This article is mostly aimed at people trying to earn an income via blogging, but it should still be useful to people here who are trying to bootstrap a more traditional "web 2.0" startup.

Hey mise, thanks for your feedback. It all comes down to just doing it, but I tried to list possible pitfalls. The article's subject is on the abstract side, but in the next articles I'm preparing I will discuss very practical, actionable details about generating income online.

That's great. Different articles suit different people, I like the more actions-specific ones for sure.

That was certainly not my intention, Steve. I was aiming for something useful that could work as an introduction to a series of articles on generating money online through content. I'll focus on doing better from the next article.

Sometimes even saying "just do it" in 30 different ways might be good to motivate someone.

Almost - the no daydreaming stuff is pretty important, and not really a well known problem.

Thanks for the article fat_tony - it was well-written and inspirational.

Regarding the fluffiness comments - sometimes it's good to read the same message over and over again until it sinks in or your mind finally gets it.

I look forward to the other articles!
