Life is hard enough in the anime industry these days as it is ( as several stories posted here have mentioned recently ), even in top notch studios like KyoAni.

A good example of how slow moving the news is, a simple thing like a death count is beyond their limited capacity 7+ hours later.
One can see why they should not be relied on for complex issues.
