Full-Time / Part-Time Full-Time Job Description Sunshine Avionics LLC, located in Miramar, Florida, is a leading provider of the highest quality MRO services for advanced avionic component repairs and is also a HEICO Avionics company.

The Applications Developer designs, analyzes, codes, tests, documents and implements functionally appropriate, technically sound and well-integrated application systems of high complexity. The Applications Developer will work autonomously as the sole, onsite developer reporting to business leadership.

Responsibilities - Applications Developer (SQL):

    Analyzes, designs, and develops viable solutions for business problems
    Codes, tests, debugs, documents and implements applications
    Develops time estimates for project schedules
    Provides timely and accurate status reports
    Assumes responsibility for application support
    Works on multiple high priority projects concurrently
    Maintains and enhances technical skills through formal and on-the-job training

 
 

Career Level Experienced Non-Manager Requirements Education - Applications Developer (SQL):

    Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience

Experience - Applications Developer (SQL):

    At least 3 years of related experience in self-managed or autonomous development environment

Skills - Applications Developer (SQL):

    Object Oriented programming
    MS SQL Server and querying through T-SQL
    Web front end and development technologies
    Familiarity with development of integration applications and web services
    General understanding of technology infrastructure and application performance monitoring
    Knowledge of system development life cycle and methodologies
