While the WSJ and certain VCs may disagree - it's not impossible to have a life outside of your startup.

I own a home, have a few side startups, work as a consultant fulltime for a consulting firm, am an active freemason, play in a regular poker game and take a month off of work every year - all while maintaining my relationship (and getting married in July).
