#3Any project that needs to have a CoC to enforce civil behavior (and strong language is not out of civil behavior IMO) isn't worth contributing with.
There are already too many laws in civilized countries, we don't need to add such layers.

#5I fully support morally all contributors who would want to rescind. I don't have any format contribution inside the Linux kernel, but if I had, I would rescind on principle, for having a CoC. I suspect the bulk of any "insecurity" lies with those who so vehemently oppose codifying "be a decent human being".
